Hardscaping gives a yard structure. A patio gives you a place to sit, a walkway gets people to the door without crossing wet grass, and a retaining wall holds back a slope that would otherwise wash out or be hard to mow. Most of the work that decides how long it lasts is underground, in the grading, drainage and base. We start by talking through how you want to use the space. From there we plan the layout, the materials and how water will move around the finished work. Water is the main reason patios settle and walls lean, so we plan for it from the start. We build patios, walkways and retaining walls on residential and commercial properties, and we can match the work to the landscaping and lawn around it. We are family owned and insured.

## Common questions

What does a retaining wall do?

It holds soil in place on a slope and can create level ground for a lawn, bed or patio. It also helps control erosion and runoff.

Can you build a patio and a walkway together?

Yes. Planning them together lets us match the materials and make sure the layout and drainage work as one design.

Can you restore the lawn after the work?

Yes. We also do seeding and sodding, so we can repair or replant the grass around the new work.
